Getting ready for school.

School has started back for the teachers and my two rooms are almost done.  They are looking pretty good, a few little things here and there.  I love the teachers and staff i get to work with, the only thing missing now is those sweet little children!  I'm very excited!  We have open house tomorrow night so i'm a little nervous about that, i usually am the 1st 'meeting' and day of class.  Once we get into a routine everything seems to go pretty smoothly.  Nothing really exciting to say right now.

Getting back to xanga...

So,  i think i am going to get back to xanga, not sure if i will post a lot or a little, just depends on how busy things get this year.  Even if no one reads this, it's cool.  It's kind of an outlet for me.  Write down my thoughts, what i'm doing/going through, and encouragement to myself and anyone else.  School starts back tomorrow for teachers.  I'm excited and nervous all at the same time.  I guess tomorrow i'll get a hint of what is in store.

So, i haven't been on here in forever.  I accomplished many of the short term things on my list....almost all of them i believe!  Nothing has really been going on, just work.  i'm babysitting about 10hrs a day for 3+ kids, it's fun but also tiring.  Next weekend one of my bestest friend might be coming down and i am so stoked!  I love her a lot and she is part of what keeps me sane. haha.  Although i often teeter on the edge on insanity, maybe it's because she is in MO right now. lol.  So, yeah...not much going on.  I've met some new friends here in town and they are cool, very fun to hang out with.  yeah, so that's about it....i'm boring, what can i say.  Oh yes and Mrs. Christiansen, when are we going to starbucks????  I'm waiting, don't you and my mom make it on a day i have to work, i will be so very sad.  :'-(  Ok, so this was a long and pointless, so yeah...i'm out.

I'm back...

So, I'm back at school.  I start work tomorrow and then classes on Thursday and this is my prayer for this semester:

Now I lay me down to study,
I pray the Lord I won't go nutty.
If I should fail to learn this junk,
I pray the Lord I will not flunk.
But if I do, don't pitty me at all,
Just lay my bones in the dorm hall.
Tell my prof I did my best,
Then pile my books upon my chest.

Hope you've had a great day!

And this is my proverb for the semester..."Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed."  Proverbs 16:3

Love you guys!
